Some of you may have wondered where did the awesome, sexy British platinum album-selling and chart-topping international superstar, Craig David go?! Remember when we couldn’t stop listening to his album on repeat back in the late 90s/early 2000s’
. Well, maybe that was just my obsession? In any event, he is back! And this time, in the stylish and hip Williamsburg, Brooklyn promoting his Tower Suite 5.
Some of you are probably wondering what is TS5?! TS5 started out as the most exclusive pre-party in Miami hosted by Craig at his penthouse home, How cool is that?! Craig’s sets combine massive old school anthems from R&B to Swing beat, and from Garage to Basement, into current chart topping House AND top 40 hits! It’s incredible how his presence and positive energy can take over a room and make a crowd go nuts! Craig David graced us with his presence and ability to both DJ and sing a few weeks ago in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at Rough Trade New York City.
Craig is no stranger to the DJ life. Before the success of his solo career, Craig started out as a DJ working the UK club circuit; he then went on to sell over 15 million albums as an artist, enjoying 14 Top 10 hits and achieving multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries.
This TS5 party at Rough Trade was off the hook and totally packed. It was completely sold out, long lines out the door but thanks to @RCA Records, I was treated VIP style, able to give you access to the hot scene that night!
It was the perfect night for a single gal to enjoy with her girls, or if you were on a date, or even if you were with your significant other…. it was one of those perfect nights, where all you cared about was the music and immersed yourself in the ambiance of the place. He even remixed his classic songs with top 40’s Justin Bieber’s Sorry and What Do You Mean?! The crowd went crazy!
Over the course of summer 2016, TS5 continues to go from great to next level stuff. With a record breaking 25,000 people packing out the Sonic Stage at Glastonbury, the largest crowd the stage has ever seen in the history of the landmark festival, Craig David’s TS5 continues to grow. Craig has since done the same at Bestival, Wireless, Common People
plus an 8 week TS5 Residency at Ibiza Rocks.
